What started as a small family bread bakery in 1877 in a small town outside of Parma, Italy, has become a multinational food company. Today the company is the world’s largest pasta producer and still remains a family owned operation.
The Italians have a word for wellbeing, benessere. As a well recognized and leader in the pasta category, Barilla wanted the world to embrace pasta as a part of everyday life—eating healthy, connecting with people, moving, and growing.
We created an unbranded website to showcase benessere and how life revolves around these four principles of wellbeing; eating, moving, connecting, and growing. We also created and launched the Barilla Pasta Bulider an easy-to-use introduction to the barilla approach to cooking and supported this launch during the pandemic with virtual cooking shows.
